Porterville College Transfer Center

The Transfer Center provides a variety of resources and services to assist students to transfer beyond the community college into public, private, or independent college and universities.

Services include:

Visits by university representatives
Current catalogs from UC, CSU, private, and out-of-state colleges and universities
Computers from which you can access college and university information, major exploration resources, and complete online college applications
Transfer-related reference materials
UC and CSU application assistance
Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)
Workshops for prospective transfer students including: transfer requirements, major preparation, internet resources, and financial aid for transfer students
Individual counseling appointments

Mission Statement

The mission of the Porterville College Transfer Center is to assist students to transfer beyond the community college into public, private, or independent colleges and universities. The Transfer Center makes available to students, counselors, and faculty advisors current information and resources to facilitate the transfer process.
